Tonya is a seasoned vocalist and vocal coach with deep roots in both classical and gospel music. A native of the Seattle area, her passion for singing began in childhood and was shaped through years of formal training, to include coaching under the Seattle Opera 1st chair soprano, and the Vocal Performance program at Northwest University. 

After University, she toured the US with various gospel groups, performed in an international gospel tour in England, as well as singing the National Anthem at numerous professional sporting events. After years of performing and raising a family, Tonya returned to music as a dedicated coach, helping aspiring singers develop technique, stage presence, and confidence. 

Her lifelong commitment to music and empowering others make her a passionate and insightful presence on any judging panel.
