Olga Yanushkevych

Olga Yanushkevych is a Ukrainian-American pianist, composer, adjudicator, and music educator whose work bridges performance, creativity, and mentorship. With a career spanning over three decades, she has inspired audiences through solo concerts in Washington State and her native Ukraine, recorded five solo albums, and collaborated as a pianist on four additional albums. Her extensive body of work includes more than 600 compositions across a wide range of styles—from instrumental and vocal works to music for children and spiritual pieces. Her music has also been featured in the award-winning film Mykola Ovodov.

In addition to her performing and composing career, Olga is a passionate educator who has presented masterclasses and workshops at universities, music schools, and teacher associations. She is deeply committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians. Under her guidance, both individual students and vocal ensembles have received top honors at regional, national, and international competitions. Highlights include a Grand Prix award at the 2023 “Together for Holidays” Festival and multiple wins at the “Stars Alley” Professional Competition.

Olga's contributions to the arts have been widely recognized. She was awarded the title of Honored Pop Artist of Ukraine in 2020, received the “For Service in Arts” Jubilee Medal in 2021 in honor of Ukraine’s 30th Independence Anniversary, and was named “Woman of the Year” in the Artist category in 2018.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the State School of Education in Vinnitsa, Ukraine, along with certifications in Management and Administration and in Psychology from the Academy of Continuing Education.
